General Information
Birmingham Ballet Academy’s structured sequence of training will develop your child’s talent and guide your child towards success. Our outstanding faculty is lead by Director, Cindy Free, who is certified in
the teaching method of the esteemed Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow
(recognized as the finest in the world). Our progressive system of training focuses on developing well rounded dancers
with clean ballet technique adaptable to all forms of dance and choreography.
This aids our students in preparing for wherever their dreams may take them. Upper level students are trained using an accelerated curriculum that quickly
brings marked improvement.
Students enter Level I at approximately age 8. A core curriculum is the basis of each level. Students can supplement their training with electives in Contemporary and Jazz
H.O.P.E. Performing Ensembles. H.O.P.E. stands for Hope, Outreach, Performance, and Education. H.O.P.E. Performing Ensembles do Outreach Performances twice a semester.
